Since the next barbule prototype is not quite ready (but it’s getting very close!), this week I’ll delve into interesting tools and techniques. A few years ago for Christmas, my dad gave me a set of punches. They have turned out to my second most useful tool in my  art tool box (my staple gun will always be first). These punches create amazing perfect holes in every material I’ve tried them out on — thin acrylic sheeting, numerous fabrics, and of course, paper. And all the different diameters! So much better than a hole punch! FYI traditional sewers, they are perfect for creating pre-gromet holes too.
