Knipainting, tree swallows, and flowers

After Vogue Knitting Live! in Chicago last weekend, I’m back at knipainting with some new inspiration, and ideas to take the paintings to another level (hint: it involves my new ability to do Fair Isle knitting, and inserting the artifact into the finished painting). I just need to finish this current knipainting I started at Summer Art’s Fest last year.

And since one layer of a knipainting is not enough studio time, I finished the two tree swallows, and starting the next layer of the flower painting (the leaves have changed dramatically). And I will definitely be changing that yellow vase soon.
